I personally don't like Steam so I always prefer purchasing elsewhere, in the past on Impulse (but that's long gone) and nowadays on GOG. I actually made an exception for Cold Waters and bought it on Steam anyway, but I can't emphasize enough how rare it is for me to do that. My experience with Kerbal Space Program is that updates for GOG customers are delayed (usually by a few days) compared to Steam because GOG takes extra time to test/package the update, but that's never bothered me. |
