This mission has a recurring issue. Every time I draw it, I close with the Russian Wolfpack and am presented with a view of the water, without a HUD. The only action I'm able to take is to Alt-F4 out of the game. I'm currently running the "Russian Subs" mod.
After the first occurrence, I uninstalled and reinstalled 1.08c (final) and reapplied the latest mod. Other than this one mission, everything seems great with the combination. Thoughts? |

I had gotten this issue with older versions of mods becoming broken with game updates. A fresh install has helped in the past. I think once I just 'disabled' the old mods by naming the override folder to something like override1, starting the new version of the game fresh, and putting the override folder back, and this seemed to fix it.

you are not alone. I just had it happen this morning. I was running the 1984 mission so I think it's a game issue, not a mod problem. But I do agree with the above poster, to erase all the old mods

Was using the 28 September release from here at SubSim. Updated to the "daily" as of 1230 today at the GitHub. The issue may indeed have been the Juliet issue noted, since it appears on this mission. Thanks for your help! |

I was on a new 1984 mission (not a save file) and it still happened. Game locks up

Take a look at the file output_log.txt in the ColdWaters_Data folder. It should give some pointers to what's failing...

It makes no sense to me, without more info. I can troubleshoot but not with just an error log sorry. Killerfish will fix it for sure.
