Well, a hostage taker and kidnapper as "president". What do you expect... At leats now all thew world cna see why I did warn of Erdoghan and the AKP since almost all years I am at Subsim. Nothing in Turkey's dramatic turn backwards surprises me, since all this has always been there, just sleeping. But it never was gone, not in all those decades.

Forget Turkey. Everything else is just feeding illusions.

I know.. but Turkey is a Nato member, although i wonder how long this will last. At least Mrs may made Erdoghan a nice present with the jet fighter deal. Reportedly they joked about the weather
Well she also criticised Erdoghan about his handling of human rights, sure fell on deaf ears.

NATO states should just boycott it. No cooperation. No info exchange. No invitation to conference, withdrawing all troops, planes, nukes, everything. Having them staring at closed doors everywhere. They are no member anymore. They are a wide, open wound in the soft flank of NATO, and they spill more and more acid into it.

Sie müssen gegangen werden. Their compliance is no longer relevant.

We should also issue travel and business warnings, ewanrign everybody that whatever he does with or in Turkey, will be at his own risk.

Their borders must be isolated and quarantined as well. The Bosporus has to be accepted as a loss. The price for it has become way too high. And after all, what business do we have in the Black Sea? Very limited business once Turkey is not NATO coast anymore. The new frontline with Russia's zone of influence must be considerd to be Turkey's west coast. The Geran term for accepting that, si Frontbegradigung. Turkey already is a loss for NATO, since long time. But now it has started to become really criminal, and dangerous.
