I run SH 5 under Win 10. That`s what I did.
1. I opened ME.2 clicked on "File" and then"Open Project". 2. I opened "Happy Times.pj". 3. I clicked on the File"Add new mission". 4. I named the mission"Light Ships". 5. I set the Start date to 7/1940 and pressed OK. 6.On the right side under "Missions" it showes "Light Ships". 7.I located Lorient on the map and zoomed in. 8. I opened under "Explorer" "Sea" and opened "Roster" and selected "Sweden". I drag the Light Ship(LGH) in the Lorient Harbour. 9. With left mouse click on the Light Ship I opened the Properties of LGH on the left side. I changed "Current Speed" from 5 to 0 and "Docked Ship" from false to true. 10. I clicked "Mission" and "Validate Mission". On the Window that opened I clicked"Check mission". But under "Title:" there is no mission shown. But there is shown"ERROR":No player unit found. and "WARNING": AI unit_Light Ship #1 has no waypoint attached. 11. I gone to "File" left side and clicked "Save Project" The blue circle arrives and turns. So the Project should be saved. I closed the editor. 12. I opened SH 5 and under "Campaigns" and "Campaign Project" I opened the file "Happy Times" There is a "Light Ship.mis" and a "Light Ship.tsr". The "Light Ship.mis"showes me under [unit 1] Name=Light Ship #1 Class=LGH Type=102 Cfg Date=19400101 Game entry Date=19380101 Game exit Date=19451201 When I play the Campaign "Happy Times" the Light Ship does not appear in the Lorient Harbour. What I am doing wrong? |

![]() You are not far away with what you have done so far. Goto data\Campaigns\CampaignProjects open with text editor Happy_Times.py At the bottom add:- [Layer22] *****this should be the next number**** LayerType=0 MissionName=Light_Ships Then goto the top line and change to add the extra layer:- [Project] NumLayers=23 Save are then restart "Happy times" ![]() |

Thank's Trevally that you tried to help me. But under Happy times pj there are 31 Layer and the Layer 32 was automatically installed with "MissionName=Light Ships and the NumLayer was automatically changed to= 33.
So that did not fix my problem. Do you have any other idear? |

Couple of things to confirm first
![]() You have started happy times (this is required as the campaign files are built when it loads for the first time). Use silentotto to test. Check that the total number of layers match the first line in the .py file. Remember and include the "0" first one If that does not fix it - test the method used to add the ship:- Add the ship by editing one of the existing layers (harbour or other layer) If this works- then the method for adding the ship is correct, but the method for adding the layer is wrong. If it does not work - then the method for adding the ship is wrong ![]() |

I followed your adwice and checked silentotto and Happy times. You were right.
When I started to play Happy times I have typed Silentotto but forgot to click also on Happy times. No wonder that ME 2 did not work in the right way. Yesterday I made a donation of 40 $ to the account of the Community. I think that`s also in your mind. Thanks for helping Trevally. |
