I just finished reading this book in its German translation. Wowh, I just say wowh, and I add: chapeau! That somebody dares to point out these things and speak them out in such clarity, is impressive. He seems to have a hot wire linked into my soul. And I have not even been a soldier ever. How must real pros feel about this book?

He just got it right. Its not the first book by him I have read, and they all were very competently written, and very good.

To say that in Germany he simply is hated, is not exaggeration. And as far as I know he is not liked in Israal either, for he points out the extreme vulnerability of Israel's strategic longterm position.
