Noob for life seeking help (TwoS)

Greetings,

I just fired up the old SH5 for the first time in over a year. Life keeps getting in the way.
Sometime last year I installed TWOS v. 1.05 and still running that. I know I probably should update but I can't afford it timewise, life might suddenly need me back in action

So to my first (most likely of many) questions; I've completed the objectives of Baltic Op. spent every eel and deck-gun ammo, even the AA-shells. It's 5th of September. I've read somewhere that twos will end my patrol when the time limit is up, is that correct or do I still have to return to Kiel on prompt as I seem to remember from the old days? Will there be a radiomessage?

Thanks in advance for any tips and input
