Default Anyone know about this sound?

Have a nice .wav file from Pampanito website(I believe got it from there) of a TDC starting up. Was thinking it'd be great if could attach that sound to when you activate the PK on the TDC in the sim. I have no clue how to do this but perhaps someone does? Have a nice collision alarm clip as well, trying to decide how to use it. Thanks in advance.

They play about as well as I do...

I can't find anything for the PK button yet, Bubblehead1980. I haven't a clue about that either... |;^)

Where would eve look? I looked in sounds folder, not there.

I do have an idea for the collision alarm. I figure could remove "crash dive" since in war time every dive (make the standard dive by hitting D key a fast dive , crash dive would be the norm) was a crash dive(remember Fluckey, O Kane and others saying this in their respective books) . Then make the C button linked to he collision alarm sound I have. Is that possible?

So changed dive speed for standard dive to hat of crash dive(how do we do this?)

Use the now vacant crash dive button to play the collision alarm. While its not a necessity I believe it provides immersion. Or perhaps attack the collision alarm to when order "Back Emergency" as that is a likely time call for back emergency.

I really want to get the TDC sound figured out also.

Well, maybe Jeff-Groves and others of that level might be able to find a "collision detection" hook or a PK button push. You know there's a button push link somewhere in the files, since the light turns red or dark upon a push, and you know there's a collision detection in there because you will be warned with a Speech ogg about an imminent collision, so there are "hooks" for those things, just no audio associated with them. Seems to me it's do-able, but this shtinking game and its limitations have stopped my ideas before... 'Course, some folks don't let limitations "rule"... Maybe you could find that Speech (9 folders? and it's in each of them probably), and mix the two bits of audio together for the collision? Hopefully, it's not a "SHOUT!!!" line...

Edit: NaO_P_Enemy_ship_on_collision_course_sir.gg in folders 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9...
