U-boat Front Clasp badge help

Nedd a little help with the U-boat Front Clasp badge.
The situation is following: I am always receiving this badge before its time, my currents campaigns are in the early years of the war, but I got it. Yesterday i finished the second patrol of the current campaign and instead of the uboat front badge, got the front clasp.
I think that GWX did fix this, but could be wrong since I'm speaking from memory.
I know that the careers files have this indication of the medals:
Medal0=4
Medal1=-1
Medal2=-1
Medal3=-1
Medal4=-1
Medal5=-1
Medal6=-1
Medal7=-1
Medal8=2
Medal9=-1
can anyone tell me what is the one corresponding to the front clasp? My idea is remove it and put the correct one.

Medal0=4 EK2/Iron Cross 2nd Class
Medal1=5 EK1/Iron Cross 1st Class
Medal2=6 REK/Knight's Cross
Medal3=7 EREK/Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves
Medal4=8 ESREK/Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves & Swords
Medal5=9 ESBREK/Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords & Diamonds
Medal6=-1 ?
Medal7=1 U-Boat War Badge 1939
Medal8=2 U-Boat Front Clasp 1944
Medal9=3 German Cross in Gold 1941

Medal"X"=-1 means it is not awarded...I am not sure what Medal6 is; "0=Wound Badge" maybe?.

GWX didn't fix the premature or out-of-sequence awarding. SH3 Commander will do that for awards to your crew, but not for you Herr Kaleun; you have to do that yourself in the "Careers" and "Careers_0" files.

Thanks, so do I have to change only the careers or/also the careers_0 file?

The first time I did so, to fix my premature award of the Front Clasp, I changed only the "Careers" file. But when I returned from the next patrol, I found I had the Front Clasp again. Wasn't sure if it was "re-awarded" or if the "Careers_0" file overwrote/populated the subsequent "Careers" file.

So, just to be on the safe side, I change them both.

If you mofify careers starting your next patrol overrides changes. Fix is, after modified Careers, start your next Patrol, in Base after Patrol. Thats how I give myself 100,000 renown to take control of equipping my boat, and give myself the proper rank to command a u-boat.
