Gyoraitei Class PT Boat By:Miner1436

Adds Japanese PT boats to the game, they have DC racks.
Install using JSGME or Manually.

Woot! This is a first priority ship to get AI torpedos working on it

Good work as always, I think in most ways your ships are better quality than the stock ones.

ClassPT (Patrol/Torpedo Boat)

Armaments
AA Weapons: 13mm/76 machine gun, 5"/50 dual-purpose gun

Artillery: 5"/50 dual-purpose gun

Torpedoes: Torpedo tubes x2

Depth Charges: Depth Charge Rack x1

Speed 50 knots

The Japanese have a variety of small coastal vessels that provide a similar role to the U.S. Elco PT boat. The Japanese versions are not as fast or manoeuvrable as the Elco, but they do mount a 5" dual-purpose main gun that packs a punch against both air and surface targets. In addition they also mount machine guns, depth charges, and torpedoes, meaning they can pose a threat to any target.

Yes i left out the big gun, after comparing the BSM ship to real life Gyoraitei boats I made a few changes, speed reduced to a more realistic 33.5 Kt *based on real infromation* and I never saw a deck gun on one during my image search so I left that out too. You have my permission to use it in the IJN campaign.

At least now people will really take those PT boats into account ! I use to hammer at patrol craft with my DG and AA, guess now I'll think twice before doing that

rockets and torpedoes, what next ? my long awaited air-dropped mk 24 fido ?
