I have never seen such a messed up bunch of stuff in my life.

Did you ever consider trimming it down to just a few hundred options?

I am going to try downloading the nine separate files for the third time. Hopefully I can do it this time.

In the meantime I tried to access the installation instructions but the page won't display. (lsh3.com)

And I know this is just the beginning of the hell I will have to go thru with
GWX (whatever the hell that is) and Commander and a few dozen other things.

Seriously, is there a Readers Digest version of this? I can't use the vanilla SH3 game because it completely sucks. Just the crew rotation will drive you to drink.

I appreciate your efforts but this is a nightmare. I know you have lived with it every day for ten years and can make it work in your sleep, but try to view it from someone who just wants to play the game.

Im not savvy in what your trying to do with sh3, heck I haven't even nodded yet. I just wanted to say I love your signature, cracked me the cluck up.

Once you have managed to download the nine files and install it you want have to install any other extra stuff. (I downloaded the full version or one big file)

Read the installation manual before you do anything:

If you cannot open the manual you wanna install 'Adobe Acrobat Reader DC' from here:
www.get.adobe.com/reader (uncheck the two boxes for 'McAfee Security Scan Plus' and 'True Key™ by Intel Security' before you click on the yellow 'install now' button)

Keep in mind that silent hunter 3 is quite old software at this point and that an easy installation process is at this point because of that, sadly, not guaranteed.
