Default Some things R not always so black and white!

I'm glad we got that settled https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-J_Day_in_Times_Square
2012: George Mendonsa and Greta Friedman at scene of classic George Eisenstaedt photo taken in Times Square on VJ Day in 1945. Mr Mendonsa is still with us. Ahhh wretched PC: "Although the photo is lauded as a symbol of the joy felt by Americans on the day Japan surrendered to the United States, some people in recent times view the photo, as Time Magazine put it, "as little more than the documentation of a very public sexual assault".
Quote:
George Mendonsa and Greta Zimmer Friedman — identified as the kissing couple by "The Kissing Sailor," a book published this year by the U.S. Naval Institute — called the moment an act of unbridled celebration.
"I can't think of anybody who considered that as an assault," said Friedman, who exchanges Christmas cards with Mendonsa every year and has appeared with him at several reunion events. "It was a happy event." Friedman doesn't see a problem."There is just no way that there was anything bad about it," she said. "It was all good news, the best news we'd had for a number of years."
WE'd best go with Ms Friedman's very first-person aßeßment on this one! http://www.militarytimes.com/story/military/archives/2013/03/20/famous-kissers-weigh-in-on-photo-controversy/78537246/
