A Cry For Help

Ahoy to All
I am a veteran Sub-Sim player for a number of years now, SH 1 – SH 4 and now SH 5.
I managed to get as far as October 1943 in SH 5 and at this point the game seemed to cease all activity, !! No sightings of any ships, convoys, air craft etc, total NOTHING.
As I was running more than 1 saved campaign I decided to delete all saved games on local drive and cloud and totally start again as I thought I might have some sort of corrupted saved files.
But I’m still having problems , !! For example,, have targeted and sunk a number of ships heading towards the SW English coast and well within the “Area Of Operations” but they have not counted towards the ‘British Supplies’. To top it all I also sunk 2 AMC ships (Armed Merchant Cruisers) bang on the ‘Northern Patrol Line’ and they didn’t count towards the ‘Blockade Of Germany’.
Where am I going wrong ?? any ideas me hearty’s.... BTW, what’s the recommended patrol radius for any assigned patrol area ? .
I’m running the game with NO mod’s at all, any recommendations, have seen mod’s out there, I.e. Speech bubble fix, Depth charge fix, Toggle battery recharge, Reduction of tonnage req’d,,, to name but a few.
Ant help with any of the above will be gratefully appreciated.

There are problems with the campaign, like the ones u said, no tonnage bar progression.

Im still in 1940 so ...

I reco!emd u the TWoS mega mod, as it solves a lot of problems that the game as.

TheBerbster will give u a better solution but for now its all i can do.

Highly Recommended SH5 > The Wolves Of Steel Mega Mod

The stock game you are playing is unfortunately broken and bugged.
By this I mean the tonnage bar and campaign icons do not work properly if at all.
Fortunately the main mega mods TWOS recommended above, sobers mega mod, and Sjizzle's Wolves Of the Deep are all well tried and tested and very playable.
