And you know if they don't, there's tons of torrent sites out there ready to fill the void.
I read an article today about how TPB's own founders want the site to die with this raid. Time will tell...the article also said that last time there was a raid they were only down for three days. It's been just over one day since the current raid I do believe.

The .cr domain is/was just a cache.
I wish they would just stop trying to fight piracy. It won't go away and the "big guys" who are so keen on going after the pirates still seem to have enough money to make "Clone of that other movie part eleven" every year. ![]() |

Man I must spend more time on the Internet, never heard about them until reading this thread. On the other hand forget it I rather read books.
As said above you can't keep crooks down they always come back.

Looks like Sweden has become the USA's little puppet.
The legaity of the operation depends on the country's membership to international copyright law, and this is generally an agreement between countries, or a group themselves. For instance China AFAIK still does not adhere to any copyright membership, so pirate bay can exist there quiet freely. ![]() |

![]() Quote:
The thing is about this sort of piracy.. is that the pirates are highly unlikely to buy the product anyway. So while not being able to reduce piracy by any significant amount .. use it as a free advertising channel... you could reach an incredible market... and with gentle persuation, sell products for real, and make money on your pirate bay products by selling advertsing space. But NNoooooo... business cannot pull their heads out their rear ends... ![]() |
