1942- Excellent tanker hunting ground

Positions yourself between Cuba and Cancun- but closer to Cuba. Lots of unescorted tankers- all sizes and TANKER CONVOYS. These have 4+ destroyer escorts- usually Somers types.
Anti-sub air activity seems to be Liberators and anti-sub blimps.
Many times you'll encounter large tankers-whoohoo!
I was using the Gold GWX pack at the time
