Good day all!
Returned to SH3 after many absent years and a failed attempt at SH5. Anyways....about 3 missions in and there are a couple of things I've forgotten how to do. 1. Radio message received.....where can I read these?...driving me nuts! 2. Was there not a thermal layer to hide in?...perhaps its introduced later in the game or I'm thinking of another game. Thanks in advance for assistance |

Press m for messages. And no, thermal layers are not simulated.

Ahhh yes.....M for messages....of course!
(btw......I click M only to be lambasted by HQ for not being aggressive enough) Out of curiosity,,,can you access messages from the radio room as that's what I've been trying to do. As for the thermal layer...I'm sure I've played with it so perhaps it was a mod. |

Thermal layer is indeed a feature of SH3 Commander. It randomizes the depth below which enemy hydrophones do not work anymore.
