Default ARK: Survival Evolved

I'm kind of surprised we don't have a thread for this game, given how massively popular it is.

Anyhow here's links to its steam page, and its wiki.

This game is in early access, but it hardly feels like it is, due to its large amount of content. The devs also update the game with new content pretty much on a weekly basis (unlike a lot of early access games, where updates sometimes can take months, and not really add much). This game is a survival game similar to rust, except with dinosaurs and other long extinct animals that can be tamed. Unlike rust though, this game also has pve and single player modes.

The base game is really grindy, but this is easily fixed via a whole host of server settings. Don't like the level cap or speed of leveling, you can change it. Want more engrams per level, change it too. You can change virtually all the settings including resource gathering, tame speed, healing rate, damage, etc. You can also extensively mod the game too if you want. Anyhow here is a link to the server config commands if your curious.

So enough words, here are some screenshots from my solo game.

Group shot with most of my critters, I have almost all the tamable critters in the game except for 3.

Shot of my land carnivores.

My Carnotaurus and Rex say hi.

As do my Argentavis, Pteranodon, and Spinosaur.

Here's my Mosasaurus, she was a whole lota fun to tame, as she is one of the hardest.

My Megalodon (really wish they were bigger, as they are not much bigger than a large great white in game)

One of my two Plesiosaurs, and my Sarcosuchus

Angler, she is big enough to ride around on.

My character Bulk Bogan, flying on his ptera

I really love ark and extremly lI've the underwater and I'm really looking into the tech tier which will give us the possibility of vacuum sealed underwater bases and hopefully submarines.

I play that already but in Ark i saw a Submarine more in a like Tactical PVP Way.
Like not really to do Naval fights or such more like a "little" Mobile base to Create Metal ingots, weapons, ammuniation etc. and then be able to launch a Ballistic missle or such into the Air towards a designated area where it Explode in the Air and launch a Supply Crate to help your Tribe Teammates fighting or surviving
