The "Quick Mission" files are in "/ SH4 / Data / Single Missions", whatever you've named your Silent Hunter 4 folder, and where ever you have it. Usually, all you have to do is move the folder of the undesired mission out of the "Single Missions" folder, and it won't show on the menu next time you run the game. Move it somewhere safe for recall, just in case. Some missions are part of mods, and might be in the "MODS" folder and can be disabled with JSGME.
Sometimes, the tough part is figuring out which folder below "/ Single Missions" actually holds the mission. The "stock" game uses folders named with SM and numbers, like "SM10 Last Targets". All single mission files (MIS, TSR & TGA - if used) will have the same name as the folder they're in (rather, I should say "should have the same name as"). Some mods name the mission itself (inside the MIS file) a different name, which might make it tough figuring out which one is the one you want. They show on the in-game menu the way the folders sort alphabetically in Windows. If you created a mission yourself, you should know the name of it, and the folder it's in. If it doesn't work quite right, just edit it some more, and keep trying.

Are you referring to singlemissions or saved game files while in career mode?

When you are in the game on the Save game screen, you'll see how to delete saved games.
I had this very same question back when I started playing SH4. Happy Hunting!

Well Redlantern, I presume by now you've found the delete mission spot.
I delete previous saves when saving a new one, and leave the last one I loaded, just in case the current save ends up corrupted. |

The straight on answer is that you cannot delete missions from the Load screen. You have to do that from the Save screen. BTW, if you want to delete ALL saved missions, go to your My Documents folder and find and open the SH4 folder. Inside the data/cfg folders are Rich Saved Games and Saved Games folders. Empty those folders and you will have no saved games. Enjoy!
