Almost a week to the day of the terrorist attack in Paris France, there has been yet another senseless attack in Bamako , the capital of Mali.

Quote: Gunmen stormed a Radisson Blu hotel on Friday morning in Bamako, the capital of the West African nation of Mali, seizing scores of hostages and leaving bodies strewn across parts of the building. Officials in Mali confirm at least 20 dead. The Radisson Blu Hotel is a favorite with foreign travelers.

Mali is a former Colony of France and France led an offensive in 2013 that resulted in Islamic militants being ousted but remmneants of this force remained. Hundreds of French soldiers also remain in the country.

Al Jazeera reported that it had received a recording asserting that a local militant group, Al Mourabitoun, had carried out the siege in conjunction with Al Qaeda’s regional affiliate, though the claim could not be independently confirmed .

There is confusion over hoe many terrorists were involved with two having been killed. Some sources on tv claim up to three are on the run and are being hunted by the authorities.

Nineteen deaths could actually have been even more according to the authorities.

Where will the next atrocity take place?
