Never happened before

Started the war over again. 10th fleet out of Lorient. I wanted the type IX this time, for some reason. January 1942.
Assigned as Leutnant z.S. and commanding officer of U-802, type IXC. It comes with a striped paint job. (that's different, usually I get "grey" or "rusted grey"). The lights stay on in the control room (not like the other type IX, which are bugged and blink continuously), and the crewmen are all chiefs. The seamen, the POs, and the Officers are all senior. The only Junior on board is me, the Captain. I suppose I could dismiss a few chief seamen and chief POs and replace them with lower ranks but, it's not really a concern of mine. More of an observation. This game still continues to surprise me.
