I just installed SH4 in windows 8.1 and installed patch no sounds such as enemy destroyers pinging, crash dive alarms, crew to battle stations, get other sounds, music, ambient sounds...any thoughts

![]() I'm not sure what the problem may be. I just installed SH4 to my own 8.1 system and everything works fine. Where did you install it to? Program Files? Sometimes Windows doesn't like us putting things in there. I created my own pathway: C/Steve's Stuff/Games/UBISoft/SH4. I'm sorry I don't have more information for you at this time.
