Now in MI 5, he hangs on to a Airbus A400 as it takes off.

say what you want about him (and there is lots), but the 52 year old guy has guts!

Tom Cruise admits his Mission Impossible 5 plane stunt terrified him

"I was actually scared ****less," Cruise told a crowd at CinemaCon at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on Tuesday. "I was in a harness, on my side, that was kind of loose so you can see the vibration of my body against the plane."

The Rogue Nation star had made a surprise appearance during a showcase of footage from the movie at the annual convention, during which he told cinema owners and exhibitors he performed the stunt eight times at 1.5 kilometres (5000 feet) in the air.

And it was on the second take that "I got hit by just a little particle". "I literally thought it broke my ribs," he said

Perhaps the trickiest form of navigation was of a different variety. Initially, Airbus was reluctant to loan the A400 to the production; it would hardly be good publicity for its sleek new aircraft if one of the world's biggest movie stars tumbled off it at thousands of feet. Executives were especially reluctant because the takeoff would take place at a sharp angle much more common to an air show than, say, a red-eye from LAX.
