Uplay?

If I remeber correctly, it was possible to play without connecting to uplay?
Is that still available?
Also, Can I play without having to do the start mission ie go sink the 2/3 freighters. I have done that mission before and want to bypass it if possible
I can't remember as it's so long since I was playing SHV.

No, you cannot play without Uplay.

Uplay verifies your game each time you log on to make sure that it is a legitimate version.

You can play with Uplay Off line is that what you meant?

Yes that will do the same!. Subsim have changed their format? I can't see anywhere to 'reply' without qoutes.

If you are refering to the tutorial mission where they wake you up and tell you the XO wants to see you on the bridge, yes you can indeed skip that. open CareerHistory.cfg located in "SH5\data\cfg" in your documents folder and change HasCompletedTutorial to true. that should allow you to skip the tutorial mission.
