Observed SSK issues

Has anyone noticed in some scenarios the SSK proceeding at 20 knots consistently for longer than 45 minutes? I have observed this on numerous occasions and since it appears that the SSK is modeled (in terms of stats) after the KILO IMPROVED class, it seems unrealistic for the SSK to exceed its 45-minute rate.

EDIT: I have determined that the engine has issues doe to its stripped down nature and this answer my own question after a couple of months of analysis.

AIP propulsion is what most SSKs are fielding now.
