nabbo question mod for sh5 steam version

Hi everyone,
I'm still playing in "arcade" mode just to take confidence with the game but I'm aiming to play it as a simulator in full real mode.
I'm not sure how to identify ships and don't know if the stock TDC is good enough. I found Enhanced Ship ID Recognition manual V1.02 is it a good mod?
and ... I have steam version of SH5

so I'm never sure if mods published here are usable, in particular is there a single complete mod which will make the simulation more realistic and which is compatible with steam version of sh5 ?

////EDIT: Found instruction on how to aplly WoS to steam version , hope I'll be able to use it...
