^ Roger Moore in "The Saint" ?

What has been nice in the last couple years several retro TV stations show all those show and more.

MeTV schedule today

Remington Steele
The Streets of San Francisco
The Mod Squad
Hawaii Five-O
etc. etc.

The Saint is on at 1am

http://metvnetwork.com/schedule/

My favorite is probably Barney Miller but that is on Antenna TV

Old school:

The Untouchables
The Avengers

A special award goes to The Persuaders - the German dubbing was hillarious - changing the tone of the series to be more comical. Yes, German humor improving a British series - take that, Brits!
@ Markus: I think that's the one you mean - starring Tony Curtis and Roger Moore

newish:

The Wire
Southland
Breaking Bad

I liked these:
The Rockford Files
The Untouchables
The Avengers
Magnum P.I.

McCloud was pretty good.
Kojak was good, but I didn't see it that much.

My all time favorite was:

Hill Street Blues

Hill Street Blues was a great series indeed, but not my all time favorite.
