Hey sailers. In sh3 gwx is there a order for me to go the gibraltar strait. I believe if I request a transfer to the med flotilla I will automatically be placed there.

Short answer is no.
Long answer is there are some workarounds; 1. You can go through the straight after the med flotilla becomes available (9/41 off the top of my head) , get close to the port but not close enough to dock there, Hut ESC and End the patrol by returning to your home port, then transferring to the med flotilla. 2. Stieblers sh3patrol v4 utility in the mod workshop 3. Apparently there is also a mod that changes your home port to Salamis from one of the French bases but I'm not too sure which one |

This is actually not true. You can instantly teleport back to base with 100% realism. You simply end patrol, you are marked as dead and you IMMEDIATELY start another patrol. You will continue as normal. I consider this a bug.
