Cannot recieve any radio messages

Hello Kaleuns,

I have just started playing SH3 again after an absence of six years and I am gladly surprised to see its community is still active and vivid. I really appreciate the work everyone here does.

Regarding my question:
Somehow I do not ever recieve any radio messages from BdU or anyone else. I do know that by pressing "M" I can see the radio log but it stays empty even after a week at sea. Only if I send a status repord, BdU congratulates or aks for more effort. But nothing else seems to come through. I always keep the radio operatator station occupied. My data\Campaigns\Campaign\messages_(de in my case).txt file seems to be intact. What might be wrong? I play with GWX 3.0.

Do you have the radio station manned by a crew member?

It's late october 1939. I have also found out that the radio messages in all training missions do not work either. From my understanding this indicates some kind of file corruption. But I have no idea which file could be affected..

I have meanwhile found a similar thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=206211) where the problem could be resolved by un- an reinstallation. I will probably try this tomorrow.
