Finding it hard to find Official Patches for all versions to 1.4b?

Finding it hard to find Official Patches for all versions to 1.4b?

I'm a newbie on this site and had a bit of a hassle with links from the Ubusoft site.....BUT I finally found them all (Patches) on this page

http://patches.ubi.com/silent_hunter_3/

It has all of them US-Dvd, US-Downloaded, EMEU-Dvd, EMEU-Downloaded

I think that everything you can buy these days is already patched to v1.4b. Check the version of your .exe file with Properties, under the Details tab. If it's 1.4.0.1, then you have v1.4b.

Yes. Patch 1.4b has everything contained in all the previous patches. It is the only one you need.

To Whomever has the answer,
Ive got the EMEU v1.001 DVD SH3 version and I also have the RELOADED version. Trouble is the DVD version which is the clean install I need tp load GWX up on gives me an error message about needing an xp2003 server to fire up. Tha is after installing all the patches sequentially to 1.4b as well.
The RELOADED version with the "cracked" exe works fine..... just can't load GWX 3 as it crashes.... I wonder if earlier versions of GWX will work?
I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, and yes I've tried various compatability settings and posted problem reports to Mother Goose (Microsoft) in the last 24 hours... but someone here already has the answers I'm sure....
So drop a hint to this bilge rat before I drown!

Rgr that and if you've already had an installation....uninstall and perform a registry clean before any further attempt.
