Not unlike the Michael Fagan incident at Buckingham Palace or Matthias Rust landing a small plane in Red Square. No in-place static defense is impenetrable; Omar J. Gonzalez's blitz into the White House is a lucky-break wakeup call, right along with an alert gunner on the Pakistani frigate...
 They are always out there pushn', probin', testin', and occasionally penetratin' Always had my foot on the hydraulic barricade switch of the garage entrance to a Federal Building Garage- especially after Oklahoma City.

And they shot that poor woman who accidentally rammed the fence with her car!
Chased her down and killed her with great prejudice. It was a good thing that the kid in the back seat was wearing a bullet proof back pack.

While Nixon was in office a US Army private that had been rejected from flight school stole a Huey UH-1 and actually flew all the way to the White House and landed on the lawn. This was in 1974 he flew from Ft. Meade.
