Not sure what I think of all the digging in the trenches. Are they considered war graves, similar to removing bones from a sunken ship?

I suppose it would be nice to return the bones/body to it's home country and get a proper burial.

Still interesting though.

Good link there Jim, I really would like to go there sometime, just to get my head around the place, I mean pictures are one thing but...it's hard for me to put into words really.
I'd also like to visit the grave of my great-great-grandfather in Etaples cemetery.

Rgr that, nothing comes anywhere near the feelings and emotions you experience when actually there....I learned that when visiting the Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery and walking across the John Frost Bridge with my father during the time I resided in Holland.
