HI Guys ...
Im happy to see work is still going on SH5 after all these years! Quick question : So, I have a more than respectable PC: quad core i 7 12 gigs of DDR 3 ram Geforce GTX 760 But, I have tried to run Sh5 (with the Wolves of Steel mega mod) on my rig and its just horrible. Stutter with frames rates etc. I don't know what causes that... but I kind of had the performance drop before.. when I was playing SH5 and I found that it was the reworked sub interior mod that caused it. I really don't want to spend days and days downloading individual mods again and making a whole new mod-soup of my own. But I guess it may be the only way.....? Any thoughts would be very much appreciated! Steve |

Try the antilag fix here:- http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=2871. This has helped a lot of people with this problem.

It's been a while for me as well but I do remember setting shadows to one tick below maximum helped some people loads while sacrificing minimal detail.
Also I don't recall if SH5.exe is "large address aware" out of the box so googling CFF Explorer can help you set that up. |
