Default Chinese show-off

As there article say a Chinese fighter jet made some provoking maneuver near an American P-8

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-0...ocative-action

I got the news from a Danish newspaper, there was no link so I had to make a search for it.

Well, at least it didn't crash into it this time.

There were numerous near misses during the Cold War, US interceptors used to have to get up close to try and read the tail number of the intruding Soviet aircraft for intel purposes, and the Soviets would play up on this by periodically trying to turn into the US aircraft or pointing the tailgun at it.

Just another day of Cowboys and Kowloons.

I guess they(Chinese) did or tried to send two messages

1. We are not afraid of you
2. This is our playground, buzz off

Nah, Hotshot Pilots come in all nationalities. And there is a bit of Maverick in all of them!

Find some tiny jerkwater country with old WW1 biplanes for an Air Force and I guarantee that the fighter pilots will be just as full of themselves as the best of the USAF.

Fighter-Command pilots were so full of themselves during WW2, they would even undo the top button of their tunic...

Also don't forget the lot who had big idea's of bombing the ... out of Germany during the daytime.... If it were not for the Brits they wouldn't have an air force.

Some questions

1. Has this to do with the dispute in that area?

2. Have some of the Chinese fighter jets or planes always behaved that way when there was an American plane nearby( Not Including the Hainan Island incident)

We have been discussing this dispute in some thread and I can't get it out of my head that the Chinese are giving USA a clear message

Get out of here

Even the Swedish Fighters have meet Russians Hotshots and from what I have learned they wasn't so...(don't know the name for it)

Maybe it just was some pilot who want to play Maverick or the pilots have got orders from above to be aggressive.
