Default Who here wants to own up to recently boating in NY?

This sounds suspiciously like something that would be done by certain people round here...

Not naming any names, naturally.

Default Unsteady as she goes helm!

If they had hand-held rockets,... met Mary Ann Belson, 60, on a night out in Queens on Saturday evening. Neither of the two men had met Belson before. Gallo invited them on board his boat, and before long things got a little heated.
Things can get a little fishy in the 'rockets red glare!' I always keep a two-fisted grip on the tiller myself; Keep a stiff upper lip and a stern attitude!A lady should act her age IMHO!

My quote of the year:

That's why you should have a medic on standby and stop regularly to take a couple of hits from an oxygen mask.

This was in the local papers....

The real kicker in this story is that it took a half hour for anyone to respond to the accident.

In New York City, that close to an airport, a half hour response time....

Really? I am glad it wasn't a cargo ship full of fertilizer and Diesel Fuel....

How bloated is homeland security now?

So worried about searching grandmas diapers, and stealing your toothpaste, (and laptop, and cash, TSA loves stealing from bags, google it for hundreds of stories, you get what you pay for America)

They neglect some drunken boater having a sausage party. Let it take out a light, then sit there for a half hour.

Good security guys....

Calling all TSA agents with thier stomachs over their belts, grandma need to be wanded and cavity searched. And we need to institute 3 hour check ins so we can search everyone but a muslim.

Burqua= instant pass through security. Not even asked to remove the veil to verify identity...That would be disrespectful!

White guy with one bag on a 2 hour flight=random search. (personal experience.)

Most worrying

Quote:
There was a Port Authority vessel tied up at a nearby dock, but there was no crew available to operate it, because the PA had decided operate its navy only during daylight hours in a bid to save money.

According to the Mirror, a Port Authority Police Department spokesman said: "If the love boat crew had been "terrorists with bad intentions, they could have easily succeeded.

"If they had hand-held rockets, they would have had plenty of time to fire at planes."
