Funny issue with Steam here. For some reason Steam will not update files it just never actually starts downloading.Yet everything else works just fine.I can view the store pages and forums things like this just fine which of course means that else where it is able to make use of the connection.
On the Steam download page it says "busy writing to disk" and never changes never starts using any bandwidth. I have tried restarting Steam as well as changing the registry file name to "old" as suggested by Steam it did nothing. Any ideas what might fix this? Not exactly crazy about completely removing Steam and Re-installing that would be a pain. |

Pay Day 2 is famous for that kind of thing, the first updates, even if they were only some MB big took ages to download. Started with a small chunk, stopped when the disk was busy (I guess installing the files) only to download another small chunk as soon as the disk was idle, then rinse and repeat, took over an hour to download a 200 MB update that way.

Seems like it did not do this in the past.It did it for me with Wasteland 2 which eventually did update then another game(do not recall the title at the moment) I have it never did update and I got tired of seeing it and I had not played whatever the game was in while so I just removed it.
