Default My RFB must be broken....

First there was the map contacts not showing up. Even though I have them on in the options, and I have the patch loaded (the one that implicitly states that "map contacts have been re-enabled") I get nada on any map. Closest thing I see is words on the attack map when I've IDed an enemy, but no "X" or box or dot...

Now HERES THE BIG THING. I was stalking a DD off Rabaul when he detected me, ran over me but never DCed me at all... After attempting several times to torpedo him I got the bright idea to emergency blow and fire the deck gun at him. I fully expected to get my butt handed to me. To my shock, he never fired a shot - never locked his search light on me (it was night) and let me pound him for quite some time while he RAN AWAY...

Flying cam examination showed why he didn't DC me. He's got no DC racks.

Just what is going on here?

Is this somehow "normal"?

Or

Did I somehow screw something up?

It's July 1942 and I have these insalled:

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157

RFB_2.0
RFB_2.0_Patch_23April2010
Nav Map Make-Over v2.1
NMMO Airbase Add-on
NMMO v2.1 Patch 1 with AB
NMMO Reverse Ocean Colors Add-on
FP-Custom CaptainPicture (only changes pic on your desk)
FP-Intro Movie Disabled (only removed the 2nd video, the poem)

Custom Gramophone (some tracks of mine)
