Where's the tutorial mission/

After years of playing SH3 I finally got the DVD version. The game is patched to 1.2.0 and I have set it so it starts in the offline mode.
I have JSGME in the root file but no mods are installed yet. The game is Virgin.

Since the "manual" is worthless I'm looking for a tutorial mission to at least get me started in the right direction. When I start the game I get the list of options: New Campaign, Historical Missions, etc, etc but nothing related to a tutorial. I read a number of references to it here on different threads, I've seen the load screen in some you tube videos but I cannot access it and there is no option that I've found to enable it.

I've been reading through the FAQ's thread but haven't found anything yet

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
