-What does the "Battlestations" button do?
-Also could someone explain the F7 button, forgot what is called. It increases efficiency? But for how long? Does the crew get tired? Basically could some elaborate these two buttons for me a little bit, thank you. Just one more question, what is the difference between "refitting" and "ending patrol", besides the obvious? Why wouldn't you just keep refitting? Last edited by Da11en47; 02-15-14 at 03:03 PM. |

The F7 battle stations or verbal command to the exec increases crew efficiency and the crew does not become fatigued. A refit enables you to restock ammo and fuel on long patrols and go back out to complete missions without the time loss of an 'End of Patrol'; An End of Patrol enables you to use your points to improve crew attributes/performance and repair boat damage as well as upgrade equipment with your accumulated renown points.

Thanks, I'm confused why someone would not just have F7 enabled the whole time. Does the crew get fatigued?
I thought I remembered they did back in SH 3 or 4? |

If Silent Running was enabled all the time you wouldn't go very fast. Your speed submerged will be 1 to 2 knots max. SR is used to avoid the enemy above so you can slip away to fight another day.... if you're lucky.
