Default Removal of Slideout Compass - HELP

Dear Karleuns,

Really sorry to ask this. I have been searching the forums for several days to try and find a way to remove the slideout compass - I have failed to find anything. Could anyone please help?

I am running 1.4b with GWX 3, SH3 Commander and use JSGME.

Any help much appreciated.

Alles gute.

It is originally part of the '6-Dials Simfeeling' mod, which makes all the guages into large slideouts.

Unfortunately it is not JSGME-compatible, and some changes must be manually made to the menu.ini file. It is fairly straightforward, though - even I learned to do it.

The compass also comes with GWX.

That only changes the graphics for the big compass. The compass has to be installed first.

Welcome to my world. It may not look like it, but if I had a dollar for every time I've been corrected on these forums I'd have that new computer I keep talking about.

Once it's constructive it's not a problem, and you are always helpful and informative ....

I wonder if I didn't word that badly. I meant a dollar for every time someone else has corrected me, i.e. every time I've been wrong.

Would you be interested (or anyone else for that matter) in a 6 Dial Slideout for stock SH3 and another for GWX where each retains it's respective original Gui? I also have one for the hsGui. They are all JSGME ready, provided the Menu1024x768.ini file has not been altered. They are based on FLB_Sales 4 Dial Slideout.
