Where'd The Boom Go?

Suddenly, I can no longer see torpedo explosions or track shell flight. I hear the "booms" and the enemy ships take damage and sink, but I can't see the explosion. What gives?

Have you changed anything at all? I'm not sure what would be the cause either.

Just a guess. Is the particles density (config option) all the way down?
