Hi All
I have been running a few careers starting in 1944 and there seems to be a distinct lack of ASW aircraft, I thought it may be due to some mod I have installed but I have tested with Vanilla SH3, GWX and GWX with all my mods and there was no difference I started in Brest in Jan 1944 and ran up the Irish coast and up to the north western approaches only ran into a few destroyers no aircraft at all, seems strange to me I should be getting attacked all the time by that time in the war. Is this a SH3 general issue that it lacks aircraft or am I missing something. ? Cheers |

Strange. For a start at the beginning of every patrol (I tried both in Bergen and Brest) in 1944 there is a good chance of an air raid against the base. Then while heading for the western approaches from Bergen I have pretty much always been attacked at least once while snorkeling and had to dive several times due to radar signals being detected.
I use GWX btw. |

Hi, I am in 1944 now and it actually seems to be less air activity than in the latter half of 1943. This could reflect the move of air assets out in the Atlantic. The modders do seem to have a pretty good feel for the OTL.
