Good on him! I don't care if he did came last in the Olympics, he was the best we had at the time and he's still got bigger cojones than me to jump off the damned thing! Go Eddie!

Thought for a second that this was about the "Agony of Defeat" guy we used to see here every Saturday in the intro to NBC's Wide World of Sports show but that was a guy named Vinko Bogataj.

I still remember when my kids freaked out about a TV show filmed in black & white. They thought the TV was busted.

Still, I wish Eddie great success and a smooth landing on every jump.

The old ABC Wide World of Sports intro always made me cringe during the wrecking of that ski jumper.

Out of the big three networks, I considered ABC to have the best in sportscasting.
Not so much these days... they all suck!
