30 Years ago today, the Islamic Jihad drove explosive laden vehicles to the Marine Barracks in Lebanon.

241 US marines, soldiers, and seaman from the 23rd MEU and 58 French Paratroopers from the 1st Parachute Chasseur Regiment were killed

Most of the US members are interred at Arlington National Cemetery in section 59.
