Default full screen mode

Hi, I don't seem to be able to run DW in full screen mode on my laptop, I have unticked windowed mode in the game but I still only seem to using get a 3/4 screen resolution. I do have RA installed if that has anything to do with it????

Current screen resolution set to 1366x768, have tried other settings but makes no difference

Any advice appreciated

check in your DW files for your DW configuration settings..
under "graphics" there is a line "RunInWindow"..that should be followed by a "No"

ie: .RunInWindow No

see if that helps

I ran RA in a version and it was fine so i don,t think it,s that..
Did you try changing the native resolution on your laptop to match what you have DW set at?
or change DW to laptops native resolution?

How did you set that resolution,,(1366x768) ?
I just looked in the game and that resolution doesn,t appear in mine.
All it shows is 800x600 and 1024x768..

although my laptop is 1600x900,,,DW is set at 1024x768,, and i get fullscreen.

another thought is to update your graphics driver if it isn,t a current one..

Well the problem is, that DW only uses good old 4:3 resolutions. It can't use modern widescreen resolutions. You can change, how such resolutions behave, usually in your GFX card settings. You can either leave the image centered, with black border (that's what I understand you mean by using 3/4 of screen) .. or you can stretch it in width to fill the space. It will look weird, but some people prefer it that way.
Anyway DW will only work at those preset resolutions.

Yes, a pity.. If only Sonalysts would produce patch to fix this.
