Default "No Better Place to Die" movie in the works

I remember reading something awhile ago about another movie in the works involving US paratroopers during the Normandy invasion. Here's the write up from back in 2008:

Captain Dye will be soon directing his first feature film, 'No Better Place to Die,' in Normandy, France. We're very excited about this opportunity; keep watching for more updates.

It is known as the bloodiest small-arms battle in the history of U.S. warfare. Paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division jumped in the night through a torrent of gunfire into the swamped Normandy countryside. Hundreds were killed before they landed. Many drowned. Those who survived faced a deadly and vital mission. They were outnumbered and outgunned. To the brave men whose blood and guts made possible the D-Day assault of June 6, 1944, there was “No Better Place to Die.”

During the first three days of the Normandy invasion, the 82nd Airborne Division struggled to capture and hold crucial crossing points over the Merderet River. The fighting was most brutal at the causeway at La Fière, just east of Ste. Mère-Église.

Pressured by the weight of German infantry, artillery and armor, the division held its ground, subsequently pushing the enemy westward in what has been called “the bloodiest small struggle in the experience of American arms.”

This summer, the filmmakers will return to those very same battlefields in France, and re-tell the story of the battle of La Fière. And there is no one more insightful or qualified to tell the story than Dale Dye.

They put out a movie trailer in 2009 but it's more about the history of the event. Filming was supposed to have started by now but I haven't found anything confirming that.
