Hi Guys,
Sorry for what maybe a very stupid question for some of you old sea dogs but I'm having a problem even installing JSGME. I'm running windows 7 and I've saved the file into my documents and when I click open it, it says 'Windows Can't Open File'. Any Advice? Thanks! ![]() |

This might be a daft question, but have you unzipped it? - also I'm pretty sure you should put JSGME into your SH$ folder

The JSGME application that you can download here from the Subsim download section is compressed into the .7z file format. You need to install an extractor program first to use this fileformat. Go to http://www.7-zip.org/
Once the JSGME.7z file is opened with it are you able to extract an executable to your drive. And with Windows 7 you need to run this as an administrator account as your game is likely installed into the Program Files folder. You can expect a UAC warning popping up. |
