SH4 3D Damage issue!!! HELP!!!

Hey fellow captain, yesterday i was playing Silent hunter 4 and saw something
strange.When i have 3d ship damage on maximum or medium after you shot a torpedo or a cannon shell the ship dissapear and only the ship's skeleton and the crew on deck. And it get even worse with battleships and cruisers only if i put 3d ship damageon minimum the ship doesn't disappear! Any idea what the problem may be???

Do the ships look something like this?

If you are by any chance using a AMD graphics card, go into the Catayst Control Panel and change the sampling for AA from Multisampling to Supersampling. At least that's what worked for me when it happened to me. The cause might have something to with the mods you might have installed.
