Default Help needed please. blind deaf and paralysed.

Hi everyone,
Help needed please.
I'm a newby with the name of Catmanlew. (LEW to my friends)

I have completed the SH5 training mission and and that was fun.
I have just put to sea on my 1st patrol only to find that I am blind deaf and paralysed.
(Blind)
I order Periscope depth, stop all engines and trot off to the Hydrophone room to find the crew operating the thing, however! I cant hear anything.
I sit myself in front oh the hydrophone controls only to find that I cannot move the listening direction and cant hear a darn thing. :-(

(Deaf)
I surface the boat and move to the radio room only to find the same thing! The Radio is not working and you will never guess! The radio operator stands in the doorway and I cant get out.

(Paralysed)
Last but not least! LAG. I am on 40MG broadband and have never ever had such bad lag in any game! Could it be UPLAY? And what can be done about it???
My SH5 is ver 1.2.0 out of the box
Graphics card is 3D acceleration by NVIDIA Geforce 8600 gt

Honestly your system is a little weak to play it well. So turn off shadows and other graphics options to see when performance is ok.
Your internet service will not have any effect on the game speed.

Your processor is very old now and the 8600gt will just barely push SH5 but you may be able to get it playable.

There are some bugs in the original version of SH5 that cab be remedied with mods, check out the mods workshop forum and get some mods!!

I would recommend this, click Here

This is a pretty powerful CPU, and it has a decent GPU on board.
The GPU that comes integrated is very good for the price, and you can pick up another GPU if the integrated one is not good enough for you, for a decent price as well.

I play on an old GTX 570, the game performs well, with my Phenom II X6 1100T, It plays at over 100 FPS at over 1000 Time compression fine, with no CTD's or lag. The Phenom II X6 1100T is not in production anymore so they may be hard to find, they also should be cheap now.
NewEgg.com sold out within weeks of it being taken out of production, so, not on my own opinion here, they must be good.

I would go with the A10 6800K (Richland Architecture) if I were building a Gaming PC on a budget.
Just read the reviews!

Or you could wait for the Next Generation of Steamroller APU's (Kaveri)

This is what i intend to update to unless you folks disagree and recomend some thing else.

The specifications are:-

AMD Fx4130 quad core processor
1 Terrabyte Hard Drive
Gigabyte 78lmt usb3 motherboard
8gb ram memory (upgradeable to 32gb).
Coolermaster GX650 power supply
AMD HD7770 graphics card.
DVD drive +/- R/W.
Windows 7 Pro

Big question is:- Will it float my boat?

personally I'm an nVidia guy when it comes to graphics cards. I have an nVidia GTX690 and I tell you what no matter what you throw at that thing it says is that the best you can do? What a monster of a video card

I would get the best video card you can afford. I'm an AMD person myself and use the 1100T BE. No problems what-so-ever with this processor. Motherboard is Asus Crosshair V Formula and I would highly recommend it.

As far as HDDs go SSD. You'll never regret it. What insane performance? Raid SSD's in RAID0
