Default External Reserves Question

Hi

I was wondering if there was any way I could transfer my rear external torpedo reserves to my front external reserves or tubes. Or can they only be loaded into their relevant section. (Front Ex Reserves-> Front and Rear Ex Reserves-> Rear).

Many Thanks

Tom

Nope. Front externals go to the front of the boat. Rear externals to the rear.

That's a shame, since I always prefer forward firing.

At least it will help increase my skill at using rear mounted attacks.

Thanks for your help though.

Well first of all you should learn to use your stern tubes, second I think It can be done IF the game engine allows it or if it is not hardcoded, I never tried.

I think if you change the subs .sim and .upc files accordingly I think it can be done.

Then why not just use the unlimited torpedo option?

If you want to manipulate the game files to move these torpedoes around, seems to be kind of a lot of work to skirt a realistic game function.

I agree with you, but everybody play the way they want and have fun, right.

Right, digging around in game files based on an IF, especially when there is another obvious solution right in front of you. You have a curious definition of "fun."
