Default Adding drawing tools to Attack Map?

I imagine somebody has already investigated this, but is it possible to add the Nav Map tools to the Attack Map for use there?

I'm guessing not, but if there is a mod that does this can somebody point me to it?

To my knowledge, this has remained unsolved. Either drawing tools on the attack map, or the position keeper marker on the regular map would be a great step forward.

I like to play with contacts off and do maneuvering board type plotting. Right now it's easy enough to fins empty space right on the Nav Map, but it would be nice to do on the Attack Map (since that's where Hitman's Spread Calculator is displayed if using that mod). Maybe have to look into this if I can find some time.

Years ago I was able to put the Navigation Map Tools onto the Attack Map (the "menu_1024_768.ini" file is where you tinker) but there was no way the game recognized the tools to have them "activated/used" when placed on the Attack Map. The hard coded game files only allow for the tools to be used on the Navigation Map. Waste of time to try.

Thanks for the reply, Cap'n. I assumed that was the case and appreciate your confirmation.

Really enjoying getting back to playing using your OTC mod. Great work.

It's a shame. In RFB, the attack map is essentially an empty screen without any use. It would have been great to have some plotting tools there.
