Hello to everyone! I'm a new member here, drawn after watching Jefmajor's Silent Hunter 4 series on Youtube. The idea of the way you're in control of the ship and her crew intrigued me a lot, especially the idea of using the complex tools provided to chart courses, track targets, and set up your torpedo shots! Even just /watching/ him manually line up his shots, I would get a thrill whenever he would land a beautiful, perfectly lined up torpedo.

I ultimately couldn't hold back my curiosity anymore, and I went online to find out more -- which led me to this site.

So... Hello! I'm glad to have been exposed to games like this, and I'll probably be enthralled with them for a long time to come, now!
